The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Vasile Hâncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Vasile Hâncu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Börje Magnusson made a huge save. Horea Hristea kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Francisc Onete got free with Börje Magnusson in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of FC PIETROSUL -MM- booed when Warberg FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dominic Szoboszlai didn't get a good kick on the ball. 23 minutes into the match, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s goal looked a bit too open when Göran Skröder came free, but Călin Izvoranu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Călin Izvoranu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Göran Skröder in the 30th minute of the match. Călin Izvoranu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gunnar Österberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Călin Izvoranu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gunnar Österberg in the 36th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Johannes Bergendahl stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Börje Magnusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Tâbârnă, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Călin Izvoranu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gunnar Österberg in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Warberg FC getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Göran Skröder hit a great ball. Göran Skröder sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Warberg FC's Göran Skröder slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Călin Izvoranu. That made the score 0-1 after 72 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johannes Bergendahl got free with Călin Izvoranu in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 85 minutes into the game, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s David Tâbârnă nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Börje Magnusson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. A collision led to FC PIETROSUL -MM- getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Dan Burdujan hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s Horea Hristea got a free kick in the 97th minute. Sören Hermansson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 98th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
