Gilesindo Tarapiella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Hernan Constancio made a huge save. Hernan Constancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gavino Cresconio in the 18th minute of play. Vincente Monzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Noel Duarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goal looked a bit too open when Conrado Faron came free, but Hernan Constancio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilesindo Tarapiella could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Hernan Constancio made a huge save. Caaguazu's Vincente Monzon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Duarte in the 26th minute of play. Hernan Constancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Conrado Faron in the 28th minute of the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Conrado Faron stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Gilesindo Tarapiella had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Hernan Constancio. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilesindo Tarapiella was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. After a rather tough play, Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Jochen Gijselinx got a free kick in the 58th minute. Arlo Albiz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 61st minute, Noel Duarte fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Vincente Monzon, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reyes Barcenilla during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Reyes Barcenilla hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Vincente Monzon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jochen Gijselinx. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Hernan Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Faron in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute of the match Caaguazu got a corner. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Malvin Vidaurre ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Caaguazu's Malvin Vidaurre to fire away a dangerous shot which Hernan Constancio despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Conrado Faron struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. Hernan Constancio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caaguazu. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jochen Gijselinx in the 71st minute of play forced Caaguazu's goalkeeper Vincente Monzon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado Faron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caaguazu were furious when Pankracy Kasiewski was red carded, 81 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Caaguazu fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! Jochen Gijselinx shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Hernan Constancio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Conrado Faron in the 91st minute of play. 91 minutes into the match, Conrado Faron notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Hernan Constancio. Hernan Constancio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Kauã Campidelis's late challenge caught a Caaguazu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kauã Campidelis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 97th minute, Kauã Campidelis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Caaguazu had won after a very even match.
