The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, MORPH's goalkeeper Emanuel Harri had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlo Albiz. In the 6th minute, Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz made a precise shot to the right of Vincente Monzon. Caaguazu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 10 minutes into the match, Caaguazu's goal looked a bit too open when Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz came free, but Vincente Monzon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gilesindo Tarapiella scored 1-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Harri, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Emanuel Harri made a fantastic save in the 16th minute, when Conrado Faron sent off a good shot on target. In the 18th minute Gustavo-Hernán De La Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vincente Monzon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, MORPH's Emanuel Harri got control of the ball when Gilesindo Tarapiella tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilesindo Tarapiella in the 23rd minute of play forced MORPH's goalkeeper Emanuel Harri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 24 minutes, Pankracy Kasiewski mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caaguazu and the MORPH players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MORPH booed when Caaguazu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pankracy Kasiewski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincente Monzon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gustavo-Hernán Aliendro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arlo Albiz hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Mauro Tomi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincente Monzon having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alfredo Madeo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Arlo Albiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Harri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. MORPH's Emanuel Harri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Malvin Vidaurre in the 57th minute of play. Caaguazu were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after MORPH's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Malvin Vidaurre took the corner. 67 minutes into the match, MORPH's goal looked a bit too open when Gilesindo Tarapiella came free, but Emanuel Harri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Gilesindo Tarapiella notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of MORPH's Emanuel Harri. Emanuel Harri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
