After 6 minutes of play, Luganeros AFC's Artemio Iratze made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Michal Kostolányi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 9 minutes, Oliver Smutný mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the UFC Pivnica and the Luganeros AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute Artemio Iratze shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Michal Kostolányi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 14 minutes into the match, Luganeros AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Juraj Gross came free, but Alejo Gaspard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Gabriel Vlček managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Pivnica's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Vlček was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. In the 42nd match minute, UFC Pivnica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Matej Vlček to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dušan Paštrnák stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Luganeros AFC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Artemio Iratze hit a great ball. Benigno Demesio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Kostolányi having to interfere. Luganeros AFC's Alejo Gaspard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 57th minute of the match, managed to save Luganeros AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 61stth minute of the game Artemio Iratze who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but UFC Pivnica's Michal Kostolányi was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Artemio Iratze sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Benigno Demesio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Luganeros AFC's protests and gave Artemio Iratze a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of UFC Pivnica booed when Luganeros AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Artemio Iratze didn't get a good kick on the ball. Artemio Iratze struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Michal Kostolányi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Luganeros AFC. In the 89th minute, Benigno Demesio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
