With his leg Aurelian Coporan managed to avoid a goal in the 5thth minute, when GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 6th minute, Medero Gadea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Grzegorz Siekierski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Coșeriu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan got control of the ball when Edin Džeko tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aron Suşu in the 16th minute of play forced GeRaÇãO-83's goalkeeper Grzegorz Siekierski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an all-out effort, GeRaÇãO-83's Aurelian Coporan threw himself towards the right post 19 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edin Džeko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Grzegorz Siekierski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Coșeriu in the 22nd minute of play. Academia Rio's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Edin Džeko 23 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 27 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Şimonca came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute of the match, Edin Džeko tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Aurelian Coporan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Suşu in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Virgil Şimonca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Brian Ocampo's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aurelian Coporan firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 44th minute, Medero Gadea made a precise shot to the right of Aurelian Coporan. Academia Rio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 46 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's Edin Džeko sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aurelian Coporan narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Edin Džeko stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Medero Gadea struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Aurelian Coporan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GeRaÇãO-83. In the 70th minute, Brian Ocampo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GeRaÇãO-83 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. In the 72nd minute, Brian Ocampo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Suşu in the 73rd minute of play. GeRaÇãO-83's Grzegorz Siekierski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save GeRaÇãO-83 from getting a goal against them. After 76 played minutes Academia Rio got a freekick which was hit by Sergiu Coșeriu. 79 minutes into the match, GeRaÇãO-83's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Şimonca came free, but Grzegorz Siekierski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Academia Rio players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GeRaÇãO-83.
