Thor Sjödin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Aurelian Coporan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aurelian Coporan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Juhlin's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Åsbro Flåsegutter's Thor Sjödin suffered a concussion after 16 minutes and had to leave the field. Mihai Oniga charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mihai Oniga the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Åsbro Flåsegutter made a substitution. John Engström replaced Thor Sjödin. After a rather tough play, Academia Rio's Mihai Oniga got a free kick in the 18th minute. After 20 minutes, Aron Lind mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Åsbro Flåsegutter and the Academia Rio players grew even worse after the yellow card. Aron Lind hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 23 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Sergiu Coșeriu sped through Åsbro Flåsegutter's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Patrik Alström. Patrik Alström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radu Păvăloae went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Academia Rio from getting a goal against them. 38 minutes into the match, Åsbro Flåsegutter's goal looked a bit too open when Virgil Şimonca came free, but Patrik Alström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Radu Păvăloae notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Åsbro Flåsegutter's Patrik Alström. Patrik Alström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl-Oskar Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Dumitru Pantelimon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Patrik Alström read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The wind increased when Sergiu Coșeriu made the kick off in the second half. Patrik Alström came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Academia Rio's Sergiu Coșeriu. But to his dismay, Sergiu Coșeriu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Sergiu Coșeriu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Patrik Alström made a huge save. If Morgan Lundkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Radu Păvăloae received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Patrik Alström came out and tried to block the shot, but Radu Păvăloae slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 59th minute. Aurelian Coporan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André Juhlin in the 63rd minute of the match. After 65 minutes of play Åsbro Flåsegutter's Aron Lind was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 65 played minutes Åsbro Flåsegutter got a freekick which was hit by Aron Lind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgil Şimonca got free with Patrik Alström in the 67th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jan-Erik Trillkott's late challenge caught a Academia Rio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan-Erik Trillkott helped the player get up and apologised. Jan-Erik Trillkott kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Radu Păvăloae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Patrik Alström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by John Engström during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patrik Alström made an important save on a dangerous shot by Virgil Şimonca in the 76th minute. Virgil Şimoncas short, quick shot in the 79thth minute got Patrik Alström to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 80th minute, Jan-Erik Trillkott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgil Şimonca in the 82nd minute of play forced Åsbro Flåsegutter's goalkeeper Patrik Alström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 minutes Åsbro Flåsegutter's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dumitru Pantelimon who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Radu Păvăloae heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, Åsbro Flåsegutter's André Juhlin got a free kick in the 88th minute. 89 minutes into the game, Radu Păvăloae cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Patrik Alström was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th match minute, Åsbro Flåsegutter was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Juhlin to maneuver through the defense.
