Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Sergiu Coșeriu got the match started through his kick off. Mikolaj Grunwalski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Şimonca in the 4th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Spartak de Txurdi's goal looked a bit too open when Radu Păvăloae came free, but Mikolaj Grunwalski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gav Smith blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurelian Coporan having to make a save. With a little luck, Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan got control of the ball when Gav Smith tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurelian Coporan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gav Smith, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrian Blănaru in the 31st minute of play forced Spartak de Txurdi's goalkeeper Mikolaj Grunwalski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Spartak de Txurdi's Mikolaj Grunwalski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sergiu Coșeriu in the 31st minute of play. Mikolaj Grunwalski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Virgil Şimonca, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Gav Smith received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurelian Coporan came out and tried to block the shot, but Gav Smith slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 37th minute. Academia Rio's Aurelian Coporan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Liberto Merino in the 47th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Gav Smith in the 53rd minute of play forced Academia Rio's goalkeeper Aurelian Coporan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mikolaj Grunwalski made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Virgil Şimonca sent off a good shot on target. Dumitru Pantelimon made in the 59th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Virgil Şimonca immediately put the ball in play. In the 64th minute Radu Păvăloae shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mikolaj Grunwalski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Spartak de Txurdi's Mikolaj Grunwalski got control of the ball when Virgil Şimonca tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 68th minute, Gav Smith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 80 minutes, Sergiu Coșeriu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Academia Rio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergiu Coșeriu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 86th minute, Gav Smith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Spartak de Txurdi's Liberto Merino got a free kick in the 87th minute. Aurelian Coporan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gav Smith in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Gav Smith ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelian Coporan was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Spartak de Txurdi's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
