Grêmio Prudente's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GARIBALDI FC the free kick. In the 9th minute, Zé Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. José Vítor Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Hourani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. José Vítor Ramos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ruperto Quirze in the 11th minute of play. After 15 minutes of play, GARIBALDI FC's Erubiel Dubardo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! GARIBALDI FC's Conrado Eder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valdemar Valle in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Grêmio Prudente's Valdemar Valle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Hermínio Cunha fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Grêmio Prudente's protests and gave Hermínio Cunha a yellow card for diving instead. After 27 played minutes Grêmio Prudente got a freekick which was hit by Hermínio Cunha. In the 28th minute of the match Raul Transito sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but José Vítor Ramos skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to GARIBALDI FC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Victorio Abaurre hit a great ball. With a little luck, GARIBALDI FC's Conrado Eder got control of the ball when Zé Peres tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, GARIBALDI FC's Ruperto Quirze got a free kick in the 30th minute. When Grêmio Prudente's Arlindo Luz in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After a rather tough play, Grêmio Prudente's Álvaro Travassos got a free kick in the 46th minute. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. Gaby Gol replaced Eduard Hourani. 4-1 became the score in the 77th minute when Valdemar Valle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 80 minutes into the match, Arlindo Luz notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of GARIBALDI FC's Conrado Eder. Conrado Eder was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 94 minutes, Erubiel Dubardo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GARIBALDI FC and the Grêmio Prudente players grew even worse after the yellow card. The audience was convinced that Arlindo Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Conrado Eder was relentless in the 97th minute of the game.
