BRÓDNO's attentive Lilian Thuram managed to snatch the ball when Bedri Refet made a throw-in in the 25th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lilian Thuram in the 26th minute of play forced H E P T A N's goalkeeper Kuddusî Özdoğal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. BRÓDNO's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
