De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters rose to their feet, but Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geronimo Gabrio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Avalos got free with Pascal Vledder in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 11 minutes of play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geronimo Gabrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Freddy Clementi got a throw-in 15 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Perico Perez. Geronimo Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The supporters of De Digitale Dribbelaars booed when Curumalán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Velasco didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 21 minutes, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. De Digitale Dribbelaars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Geronimo Gabrio. Geronimo Gabrio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 34 minutes into the game, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Geronimo Gabrio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Gabrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen ran back to his position shaking his head. After 38 minutes of play, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Geronimo Gabrio. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen ran back to his position shaking his head. 42 minutes into the match, Curumalán AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen came free, but Geronimo Gabrio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Kristof Klompe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Geronimo Gabrio. Curumalán AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kristof Klompe was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-6.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gabriel Avalos made a kick off. After 52 minutes Curumalán AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tytus Grabski who took care of the corner kick. Geronimo Gabrio made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Kristof Klompe sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Curumalán AFC's zone, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Geronimo Gabrio came out of the goal and Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Geronimo Gabrio having to make a save. Geronimo Gabrio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen in the 57th minute of play. Freddy Clementi made in the 58th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Perico Perez. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Curumalán AFC's goalkeeper Geronimo Gabrio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes had been played when some careless play by Curumalán AFC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tytus Grabski was slow to take the kick. During this time De Digitale Dribbelaars's players had a chance to rest. Tytus Grabski made a great header on De Digitale Dribbelaars's corner, it was just that Curumalán AFC's Geronimo Gabrio managed to reach the ball for a save. When Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen got the opportunity to take care of a free kick it resulted in a really dangerous shot that almost went in the goal. Instead the ball went too high, a missed opportunity for De Digitale Dribbelaars. 84 minutes into the game, De Digitale Dribbelaars's Reinhard Alards nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Geronimo Gabrio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-8. Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geronimo Gabrio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 95 minutes, Slim Ben Von Bischhoffshausen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
