In the 5th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara made a precise shot to the right of Edward Magrath. Frenchville Sports Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Edward Magrath made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Cláudio das Neves sent off a good shot on target. Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save Frenchville Sports Club from getting a goal against them. Edward Magrath showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cláudio das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After a rather tough play, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Cláudio das Neves got a free kick in the 13th minute. Ronaldo Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edward Magrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Bertassi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Kyle Deal during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 19 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Kyle Deal. Edward Magrath didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Martins went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After 23 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Richard Nunn. In the 25th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ferreira Lopes MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. In the 28th minute, Ronaldo Alcântara ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edward Magrath was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ronaldo Alcântara had several of the Frenchville Sports Club's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 5-0 score and a disappointed Edward Magrath as he didn't even see the shot coming. Frenchville Sports Club's defense didn't have a chance, in the 36th minute, when Ronaldo Alcântara scored to the left of an out of position Edward Magrath, making the score, 6-0. If Dário Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frenchville Sports Club's Edward Magrath played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Alcântara in the 44th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Edward Magrath. Edward Magrath yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 8-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 8-0.

Ferreira Lopes MZC made a substitution. Herald Depauw replaced Luka Beaugendre. The throw-in from Kyle Deal in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ferreira Lopes MZC's Herald Depauw. Ronaldo Alcântara charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ronaldo Alcântara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 52nd match minute, Ferreira Lopes MZC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ronaldo Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. If Dário Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edward Magrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dário Martins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Edward Magrath came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara. But to his dismay, Ronaldo Alcântara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 9-0. João Francisco Vianna made in the 61st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Sidnei Bertassi. 62 minutes into the match, Frenchville Sports Club's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldo Alcântara came free, but Edward Magrath reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Magrath didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dário Martins went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 10-0 was the resulting score. 66 minutes into the game, Ferreira Lopes MZC's Ronaldo Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edward Magrath made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 11-0. Sidnei Bertassi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Magrath having to interfere. Dário Martins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Frenchville Sports Club's goalkeeper Edward Magrath, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kris Franklin hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. After 82 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Richard Nunn. After some careless play in the Frenchville Sports Club defense, Ronaldo Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edward Magrath. The Frenchville Sports Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edward Magrath should have stopped the shot. Ronaldo Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Edward Magrath made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Alcântara in the 89th minute of play. After 91 played minutes Frenchville Sports Club got a freekick which was hit by Kris Franklin. Edward Magrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ronaldo Alcântara in the 92nd minute of the match. Cláudio das Neves struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Edward Magrath didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ferreira Lopes MZC. There was no doubt that Ferreira Lopes MZC were the better team. Ferreira Lopes MZC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
