The supporters of Curumalán AFC booed when Frenchville Sports Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Franklin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edward Magrath took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Avalos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geronimo Gabrio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roland Luckham's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Geronimo Gabrio. In the 64th minute, one of Curumalán AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Curumalán AFC. Geronimo Gabrio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roland Luckham, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. In the 69th match minute, Frenchville Sports Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richard Nunn to maneuver through the defense. Edward Magrath showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alan Velasco in the 75th minute of the match.
