In the 18th minute, Pedro Cresconio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 19 played minutes Curumalán AFC got a freekick which was hit by Hernán Losada. Los Delfines's Quique Iglesias played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Avalos in the 23rd minute of play. Costel Eta charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Costel Eta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Veronica in the 52nd minute of play. Fidel Dimas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fidel Dimas in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amado Ishmael saved Curumalán AFC from getting behind. Fidel Dimas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Ishmael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. A collision led to Curumalán AFC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Hernán Losada hit a great ball. Quique Iglesias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Prejun in the 68th minute of play. During the 69th minute of the match Costel Eta completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Costel Eta a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 70 played minutes Los Delfines got a freekick which was hit by Costel Eta. Amado Ishmael made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Fidel Dimas sent off a good shot on target. Fidel Dimas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Amado Ishmael tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fidel Dimas in the 85thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Amado Ishmael, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. With a little luck, Curumalán AFC's Amado Ishmael got control of the ball when Fidel Dimas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 90th minute, Gabriel Avalos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hernán Losada kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Ciriaco Veronica's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Amado Ishmael read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. The Los Delfines supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Los Delfines would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
