In the 4th minute, Danilo Teixeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Valla Fc getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Ulrik Torstensson hit a great ball. Niklas Vallander made an important save on a dangerous shot by Armando Botelho in the 6th minute. After a rather tough play, Valla Fc's Ulrik Torstensson got a free kick in the 7th minute. Manfredo de Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulrik Torstensson in the 9th minute of play. Manfredo de Souza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oskar Wallmark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Capibaribe Stars booed when Valla Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskar Wallmark didn't get a good kick on the ball. A sloppy throw-in by Marcos Nogueira in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Valla Fc's Albert Hedkvist. Albert Hedkvist's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Manfredo de Souza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Valla Fc's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Grigore Posteucă in the 20th minute. The corner ended in Grigore Posteucă almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Capibaribe Stars's Manfredo de Souza did a great save. Eliseu de Brito hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Raimundo Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Vallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A hard shot 29 in the game by Raimundo Camargo from a close distance when the talented Niklas Vallander managed to make a qualified save. Valla Fc's players were relieved. After 30 played minutes Valla Fc got a freekick which was hit by Per-Olof Wennerberg. Niklas Vallander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Camargo in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulrik Torstensson in the 33rd minute of play forced Capibaribe Stars's goalkeeper Manfredo de Souza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Danilo Teixeira. When the match clock showed 35 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Oskar Wallmark sped through Capibaribe Stars's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Manfredo de Souza. Manfredo de Souza came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Valla Fc's Kevin Nykvist. But to his dismay, Kevin Nykvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Capibaribe Stars's Manfredo de Souza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oskar Wallmark in the 43rd minute of play. Manfredo de Souza came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by Valla Fc's Ulrik Torstensson. But to his dismay, Ulrik Torstensson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3.
Capibaribe Stars's Armando Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Adhemar Vergílio made in the 52nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Valla Fc's Kevin Nykvist. In the 60th minute, Raimundo Camargo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valla Fc's Niklas Vallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Luiz Figueiredo in the 62nd minute of play. Manfredo de Souza didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tor-Ivar Kalland went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Valla Fc's Niklas Vallander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armando Botelho in the 67th minute of play. In the 68th minute Armando Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Vallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute Raimundo Camargo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Vallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Camargo in the 73rd minute of play forced Valla Fc's goalkeeper Niklas Vallander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 74th minute, Tor-Ivar Kalland made a precise shot to the right of Manfredo de Souza. Capibaribe Stars's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. In the 77th minute Armando Botelho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Niklas Vallander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Capibaribe Stars's goal looked a bit too open when Ulrik Torstensson came free, but Manfredo de Souza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fabinho Vasconcelos's late challenge caught a Valla Fc's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabinho Vasconcelos helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Capibaribe Stars got a freekick which was hit by Fabinho Vasconcelos. In the 83rdth minute of the game Raimundo Camargo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valla Fc's Niklas Vallander was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Niklas Vallander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Armando Botelho in the 84th minute of the match. Niklas Vallander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Luiz Figueiredo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valla Fc's Kevin Nykvist managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Adhemar Vergílio in the 89 minute of the game. Ulrik Torstensson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Manfredo de Souza made a huge save. 94 minutes into the match, Valla Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Armando Botelho came free, but Niklas Vallander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Capibaribe Stars fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Valla Fc were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
