José Maria Pontes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnulfo Camus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 14 minutes into the match, Duarte Mineiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Orlanda Zumiel, 1-0. José Maria Pontes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pepe Popeye, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nildo Pereira made a kick off. Duarte Mineiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ermengol Cabrales could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but José Maria Pontes made a huge save. Orlanda Zumiel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aldomiro Urioste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The COURO COME FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CD Municipal's performance. The match ended with a win for CD Municipal.
