In the 19th minute the ball was on its way in behind HORTALEZA FC's goalkeeper Carlo Sánchez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentín Buenafuente helped the player get up and apologised. Valentín Buenafuente kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The crowd rose to their feet as VAMO ARRIBA's Alejandro Dubardo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carlo Sánchez. That made the score 0-1 after 53 minutes of play. Santiago Havier struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Carlo Sánchez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VAMO ARRIBA. VAMO ARRIBA made a substitution. Aquiles Bladi replaced Teofilo Txomin. In the 75th minute Maurice Friebel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carlo Sánchez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alejandro Dubardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the match, HORTALEZA FC's goalkeeper Carlo Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anastasio Igon. Santiago Havier who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 82ndth minute tested the skills of Carlo Sánchez when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. VAMO ARRIBA walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
