Lucas Luis charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Luis the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Error 404 booed when Terceirense F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucas Luis didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Nicolas Guerreiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Error 404 were awarded a corner in the 32th minute after Terceirense F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Eliseo Quinton took the corner. Error 404's Eliseo Quinton was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Robert Enke in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ricardo Asur made a kick off. Nicanor Tipi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valter Lucena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 54th minute of the match, Eliseo Quinton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Robert Enke saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 59th minute Gabriel Távora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Tipi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Error 404's goalkeeper Nicanor Tipi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Terceirense F.C. getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Adalberto Pegado hit a great ball. Diego Aritza could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Robert Enke made a huge save. When Iker Eneko fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Terceirense F.C. reached it. Error 404's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
