The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Abajas in the 6th minute of play. A hard shot 7 in the game by Alessandro Abajas from a close distance when the talented Horea Hurmuzache managed to make a qualified save. DINAMO's players were relieved. Luis Ibarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valentin Vulpăşin in the 9th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Kalatakaya F.C. defense, Ryszard Borcz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luis Ibarra. The Kalatakaya F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luis Ibarra should have stopped the shot. Kalatakaya F.C.'s Luis Ibarra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valentin Vulpăşin in the 17th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Ryszard Borcz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. From close distance Alessandro Abajas pressed in the 1-1 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 21 minutes into the game. When Kalatakaya F.C.'s Alessandro Abajas in the 27th minute got a chance for a shot 27th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 34th minute, Eugen Ichimescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Kalatakaya F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 36th match minute when Kalatakaya F.C.'s Alessandro Abajas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Horea Hurmuzache was a little too slow when Alessandro Abajas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 41st minute. The score was now 3-1. Américo Díaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horea Hurmuzache having to interfere. Luis Ibarra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Nicodim in the 48th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alessandro Abajas to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Loreto Abaurre notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache. Horea Hurmuzache was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Kalatakaya F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Jonathan Abecia hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes, DINAMO's Lucrețiu Nicodim shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luis Ibarra came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DINAMO reached it. Horea Hurmuzache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Loreto Abaurre in the 60th minute of play. Horea Hurmuzache showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alessandro Abajas in the 63rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alessandro Abajas in the 69th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Horea Hurmuzache prevented the ball from getting in the gole. DINAMO's Horea Hurmuzache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessandro Abajas in the 74th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Vulpăşin in the 76th minute of play forced Kalatakaya F.C.'s goalkeeper Luis Ibarra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Fernandez Abeitia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes, Sergio Castillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kalatakaya F.C. and the DINAMO players grew even worse after the yellow card. Luis Ibarra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Nicodim in the 81st minute of the match. If Alessandro Abajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Edward Zenteno during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 83 played minutes Kalatakaya F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edward Zenteno. The supporters of Kalatakaya F.C. booed when DINAMO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Agârbiceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. DINAMO's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
