After 4 minutes of play, C. A. Atlanta's Iker Dolfos made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ciro Del Vecchio was left in no man's land by his defense there! When C. A. Attilio Verdone hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. Ciro Del Vecchio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Constantino Bertol in the 13th minute of the match. After 15 played minutes Villa Gordiani got a freekick which was hit by Ercole Iachini. Villa Gordiani's Attilio Iob got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Attilio Iob managed to get in a good position for a shot. Villa Gordiani's supporters rose to their feet, but Attilio Iob was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Kismi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iker Dolfos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ciro Del Vecchio having to interfere. In the 33rd minute, Rodolfo Etxepare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Iker Dolfos put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. After 39 minutes, Fermin Mingo made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 45 minutes into the match, Iker Dolfos had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ciro Del Vecchio. Villa Gordiani's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iker Dolfos was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Attilio Iob stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fermin Mingo in the 52nd minute of play forced Villa Gordiani's goalkeeper Ciro Del Vecchio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ciro Del Vecchio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fermin Mingo in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Villa Gordiani getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Attilio Verdone hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Villa Gordiani's Ferruccio Gelsomini got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Fermin Mingo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-7 in the 71st playminute. 80 minutes into the game, C. A. Atlanta's Constantino Bertol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ciro Del Vecchio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-9. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ferruccio Gelsomini during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of C. A. Atlanta booed when Villa Gordiani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferruccio Gelsomini didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute, Attilio Verdone hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ciro Del Vecchio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Fermin Mingo's shot from short distance in the 89th minute. Ciro Del Vecchio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fermin Mingo in the 91st minute of play. In the 97thth minute of the game Fermin Mingo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villa Gordiani's Ciro Del Vecchio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. C. A. Atlanta's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
