The referee ignored ORIZABA F.C.'s protests and gave Albano Rodriguez a yellow card for diving instead. In the 23rd minute, Albano Rodriguez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 26 minutes into the match, Tostão do Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gervasio Sazon. ORIZABA F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tostão do Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Daniele Pich showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulises Ramone, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. ORIZABA F.C.'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Albano Rodriguez in the 32nd minute. The corner led ORIZABA F.C.'s Albano Rodriguez to fire away a dangerous shot which Daniele Pich despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Ramone was the one to do the kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Tomé Quirino recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Gervasio Sazon. Tomé Quirino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-4. Daniele Pich showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Txema in the 56th minute of the match. Gervasio Sazon made an important save on a dangerous shot by 彭俊骋 in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute, A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】's Fabiano Moraes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 62nd minute Tomé Quirino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gervasio Sazon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Victorino Primo came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the ORIZABA F.C. fans jumped to their feet. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniele Pich should have stopped the shot. In the 84th play minute Tomé Quirino came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Gervasio Sazon. 1-6.
