The audience thought a goal was coming when Carolo Cristos got free with Arnoldo Kismi in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. C. A. Atlanta's Arnoldo Kismi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 10th minute of the match, managed to save C. A. Atlanta from getting a goal against them. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dante Txema got free with Arnoldo Kismi in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 15th minute, Carolo Cristos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16th minute, Fermin Mingo made a precise shot to the right of Eugenio Honrio. ORIZABA F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After a rather tough play, ORIZABA F.C.'s Victor Maxin got a free kick in the 20th minute. Dante Txema's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Arnoldo Kismi firmly grabbed it by the left post. After 27 minutes of play, C. A. Atlanta's Constantino Bertol made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eugenio Honrio was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half C. A. Atlanta were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ulises Ramone was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iker Dolfos in the 59th minute of play forced ORIZABA F.C.'s goalkeeper Eugenio Honrio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ORIZABA F.C.'s Eugenio Honrio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fermin Mingo in the 62nd minute of play. Arnoldo Kismi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulises Ramone in the 63rd minute of the match. 70 minutes into the game, Iker Dolfos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. C. A. Atlanta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ORIZABA F.C. the free kick. In the 71st match minute, C. A. Atlanta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iker Dolfos to maneuver through the defense. ORIZABA F.C.'s Eugenio Honrio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save ORIZABA F.C. from getting a goal against them. Atlanta:s Arnoldo Kismi showed great skill when he stopped Albano Rodriguez:s penalty. 90 minutes into the match, C. A. Atlanta's goal looked a bit too open when Carolo Cristos came free, but Arnoldo Kismi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Maxin charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victor Maxin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to ORIZABA F.C. getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Victor Maxin hit a great ball. Chants of C. A. Atlanta echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as ORIZABA F.C. had held the ball for most of the match.
