Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Brian Urpani made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Gatt came free, but Erasmo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Serafin Fernandes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 9 minutes into the game, when Justino Otsoko put in a rough tackle. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Erasmo Ado successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 15 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Gatt came free, but Erasmo Ado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goalkeeper Erasmo Ado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean Carl Ciantar. The supporters of Floriana Celtics booed when Bresikas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Natal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bresikas's Erasmo Ado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Gatt in the 18th minute of play. In the 19th minute, Bresikas's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Brian Urpani fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 20th minute Jean Carl Ciantar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brian Urpani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erasmo Ado having to interfere. The supporters of Bresikas booed when Floriana Celtics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean Carl Ciantar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erasmo Ado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean Carl Ciantar in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austin Gatt in the 31st minute of play forced Bresikas's goalkeeper Erasmo Ado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Narciso Ignatius kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Austin Gatt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erasmo Ado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 39 minutes into the match, Bresikas's goalkeeper Erasmo Ado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Brian Urpani. Erasmo Ado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brian Urpani in the 42nd minute. German Natal hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. After 43 minutes, Austin Gatt made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Bresikas's Erasmo Ado tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Erasmo Ado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Austin Gatt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 48 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bresikas's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Pepe Haedo was slow to take the kick. During this time Floriana Celtics's players had a chance to rest. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Narciso Ignatius was the one to do the kick off. Narciso Ignatius sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 67th minute, German Natal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Floriana Celtics's Malcolm Hili was substituted for Austin Gatt. German Natal hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Brian Urpani kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Brian Urpani scored 3-0 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Erasmo Ado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Floriana Celtics's Brian Urpani got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Brian Urpani in the 79th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Erasmo Ado saved Bresikas from getting behind. 81 minutes into the game, Floriana Celtics's Jean Carl Ciantar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Erasmo Ado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. In the 86th minute, Narciso Ignatius got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 95 minutes into the game, Brian Urpani cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Erasmo Ado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Floriana Celtics had played much better football throughout.
