Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mehmet Efe Vefik kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mehmet Efe Vefik in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jason Haber saved Floriana Celtics from getting behind. 4 minutes into the match, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goal looked a bit too open when Austin Gatt came free, but Şemsettin Tanaltay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doğuş Baykan during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 9 minutes, Baturhan Harmanda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ and the Floriana Celtics players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th minute, Baturhan Harmanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Şemsettin Tanaltay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Austin Gatt in the 12th minute of play. Brian Urpani's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Şemsettin Tanaltay read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. Şemsettin Tanaltay was a little too slow when Brian Urpani got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-0. The Floriana Celtics fans' excitement grew in the 26th match minute when Floriana Celtics's Austin Gatt looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Efe Vefik in the 31st minute of play forced Floriana Celtics's goalkeeper Jason Haber to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Şemsettin Tanaltay proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ from getting a goal against them. In the 37th play minute Brian Urpani came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Şemsettin Tanaltay. 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Brian Urpani made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baturhan Harmanda to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute Floriana Celtics were awarded a corner. Pepe Haedo went to the cornerflag to take it. The audience was convinced that Austin Gatt's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Şemsettin Tanaltay was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Brian Urpani managed to get in a good position for a shot. Floriana Celtics's supporters rose to their feet, but Brian Urpani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Şemsettin Tanaltay breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Austin Gatt in the 61st minute of play forced Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's goalkeeper Şemsettin Tanaltay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brian Urpani kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Floriana Celtics's Malcolm Hili was substituted for Austin Gatt. In the 68th minute, Brian Urpani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Şemsettin Tanaltay came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Floriana Celtics's Brian Urpani. But to his dismay, Brian Urpani quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Brian Urpani scored 6-0 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Şemsettin Tanaltay, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
