The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. booed when Riesgo Cero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Ornelas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The throw-in from Epifanio Sergi in the 12th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s 任朗潮. Miroslav Klose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute, Claudio Egoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Riesgo Cero's defense didn't have a chance, in the 23rd minute, when Miroslav Klose scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Sugoi, making the score, 1-1. Miroslav Klose received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Benedicto Sugoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Miroslav Klose slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 26th minute. Benicio Arias charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benicio Arias the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Riesgo Cero getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Benicio Arias hit a great ball. Benedicto Sugoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miroslav Klose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Quadros hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, Riesgo Cero's goal looked a bit too open when Miroslav Klose came free, but Benedicto Sugoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 38 minutes into the match, Miroslav Klose notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Riesgo Cero's Benedicto Sugoi. Benedicto Sugoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miroslav Klose sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcos Charro was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Riesgo Cero's zone, Gigel Durbac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedicto Sugoi came out of the goal and Gigel Durbac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Klose in the 54th minute of play forced Riesgo Cero's goalkeeper Benedicto Sugoi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Miroslav Klose might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedicto Sugoi. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Miroslav Klose ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 61st minute of the match QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. got a corner. Riesgo Cero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gigel Durbac ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gigel Durbac got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Benedicto Sugoi quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Miroslav Klose had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Miroslav Klose in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Sugoi prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Benedicto Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Klose in the 76th minute of the match. Benedicto Sugoi came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s Miroslav Klose. But to his dismay, Miroslav Klose quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Miroslav Klose managed to get in a good position for a shot. QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Miroslav Klose was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benedicto Sugoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. 任朗潮 hit a great ball. 88 minutes into the match, Miroslav Klose notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of Riesgo Cero's Benedicto Sugoi. Benedicto Sugoi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Benedicto Sugoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslav Klose in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute Miroslav Klose shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedicto Sugoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
