After a defensive mix-up in Nova Venécia-ES's zone, Gigel Durbac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robinho de Salles came out of the goal and Gigel Durbac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C.'s José Guimarães got a free kick in the 11th minute. After 13 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Peres. Carlos Ornelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Eduardo Sanches in the 15th minute of play. The supporters of Nova Venécia-ES booed when QUINTA DAS LUZES F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. 董晨川 didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dino Tavares scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carlos Ornelas, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Ornelas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Venécia-ES. Carlos Ornelas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dário de Salles in the 34th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Nova Venécia-ES's Dário de Salles nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Ornelas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. Carlos Ornelas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dino Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Miroslav Klose in the 41st minute of play forced Nova Venécia-ES's goalkeeper Robinho de Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vicente Peres was shown his second yellow card after 43 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 59 minutes, Miroslav Klose made it 2-5 with a short kick to the right side. Nova Venécia-ES's Robinho de Salles tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Carlos Ornelas was out of position in the 78 minute of play, and Enéas Leite capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enéas Leite really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6.
