Jason Achin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tamás Szepesi, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. Pénzügyőr SE's Marcell Borsos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Morin in the 18th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Mitch Reeves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Béla Koplárovics took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jason Achin. Jason Achin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The supporters of Pénzügyőr SE booed when Qikiqtarjuaq FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Patrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcell Borsos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jewel Coats, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jason Achin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Béla Koplárovics in the 37th minute of the match. Tamás Szepesi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jason Achin having to interfere. Eustaquio Patrick hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Róbert Sárosi charged in rather forcefully in the 41st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Róbert Sárosi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Pénzügyőr SE's Róbert Sárosi got a free kick in the 41st minute. Will Greenberg kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Béla Koplárovics was the one to do the kick off. The Pénzügyőr SE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcell Borsos should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Pénzügyőr SE getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. After 59 played minutes, Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Eustaquio Patrick shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Marcell Borsos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Qikiqtarjuaq FC reached it. Marcell Borsos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mario Dostie in the 64th minute of the match. Marcell Borsos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Qikiqtarjuaq FC had played much better football throughout.
