After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Mamat Marasabessy managed to get in a good position for a shot. LA MAQUINA F.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Mamat Marasabessy was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgilio Marcilla breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernardino Beltran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Seraín, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Valdo Salas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bernardino Beltran was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 17th minute, Celestino Seraín ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Beltran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 22 minutes of play, PERSPOLIS's Celestino Seraín made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bernardino Beltran was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a rather tough play, LA MAQUINA F.C's Leonardo Chumo got a free kick in the 24th minute. 25 minutes into the match, Valdo Salas notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of LA MAQUINA F.C's Bernardino Beltran. Bernardino Beltran was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Maximiliano Matia's late challenge caught a PERSPOLIS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maximiliano Matia helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to LA MAQUINA F.C getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Maximiliano Matia hit a great ball. Bernardino Beltran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Salas in the 34th minute of the match. After 37 played minutes LA MAQUINA F.C got a freekick which was hit by Godfredo Dantae. 38 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Celestino Seraín came free, but Bernardino Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 42nd minute, Celestino Seraín ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bernardino Beltran was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Marco Leoni took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Virgilio Marcilla. Virgilio Marcilla dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-4. The LA MAQUINA F.C players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. PERSPOLIS were winning 1-4.

Mamat Marasabessy hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, one of LA MAQUINA F.C:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for LA MAQUINA F.C. Pedro León sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bernardino Beltran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cesario Bajo in the 65th minute. Arash Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute Pedro León shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardino Beltran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonas Vela kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Pedro León recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. LA MAQUINA F.C's Bernardino Beltran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesario Bajo in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Myles Powderham in the 78th minute of play forced LA MAQUINA F.C's goalkeeper Bernardino Beltran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Azevedo in the 83rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgilio Marcilla prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bernardino Beltran made a fantastic save in the 84th minute, when Myles Powderham sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of PERSPOLIS booed when LA MAQUINA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Vela didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, LA MAQUINA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Salas came free, but Bernardino Beltran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LA MAQUINA F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Celestino Seraín scored to the left of an out of position Bernardino Beltran, making the score, 1-6. In the 97th minute, Jonas Vela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an all-out effort, PERSPOLIS's Bernardino Beltran threw himself towards the right post 98 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valdo Salas, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. PERSPOLIS played a much better game than LA MAQUINA F.C and deserved their victory. The LA MAQUINA F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
