When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Salomone Weber sped through Qikiqtarjuaq FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jason Achin. Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Schmid in the 20th minute of play. In the 36thth minute of the game Mario Dostie who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Bastien Aldridge fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Qikiqtarjuaq FC's protests and gave Bastien Aldridge a yellow card for diving instead. In the 46th minute, Albert Einstein sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Qikiqtarjuaq FC's Jason Achin didn't even have to move.

Espen Steelers's Nikola Portner proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Espen Steelers from getting a goal against them. Lenny Rubin was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 83 minutes into the match. Albert Einstein hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute, Junior Stover left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Qikiqtarjuaq FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-3.
