After 18 minutes of play, the xeneise dream team's Celestino Barbosa made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Co Luijpers was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Anastasio Petrigai in the 23rd minute of play forced Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Co Luijpers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Dukaton f.c. getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Baltazar Prestes hit a great ball. Baltazar Prestes lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. After 28 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Dukaton f.c.! Co Luijpers had in the 30thth minute some difficulties stopping Celestino Barbosa's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Co Luijpers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Barbosa went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Co Luijpers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Celestino Barbosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dukaton f.c.'s Co Luijpers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaac Procopio in the 40th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Celestino Barbosa in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Co Luijpers saved Dukaton f.c. from getting behind. Co Luijpers came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by the xeneise dream team's Celestino Barbosa. But to his dismay, Celestino Barbosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After the first half the xeneise dream team were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jacques Roordink stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Co Luijpers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaac Procopio in the 51st minute of the match. Co Luijpers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anastasio Petrigai in the 52nd minute. Cayetano Perutxo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Floris Hoffhuis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jacques Roordink fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Perutxo having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Jacques Roordink got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Arjan Zoontjens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anastasio Petrigai got free with Co Luijpers in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 92 minutes into the match, Dukaton f.c.'s goalkeeper Co Luijpers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anastasio Petrigai. With a little luck, Dukaton f.c.'s Co Luijpers got control of the ball when Anastasio Petrigai tried to sneak it across the goal line. The Dukaton f.c. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching the xeneise dream team's performance. The match ended with a win for the xeneise dream team.
