Artur Wilk started the match with the kick off. Artur Wilk struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Kristiaan Van de Velde didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Skrwa Sikórz. Yan Zhen Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgard Armentier, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. In the 6th minute, Quirce Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmund Niedbalski in the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute Edmund Niedbalski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiaan Van de Velde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save de belletrekkers from getting a goal against them. In the 20th minute, Edgard Armentier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yan Zhen Wei was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. 23 minutes into the match, de belletrekkers's goalkeeper Kristiaan Van de Velde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Artur Wilk. In the 34th minute Damazy Niemojewski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristiaan Van de Velde saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, de belletrekkers's George Van Impe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Yan Zhen Wei made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After having played for 39 minutes, Edmund Niedbalski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skrwa Sikórz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edmund Niedbalski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When George Van Impe came up free with the goalie in the 50th minute, the de belletrekkers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that George Van Impe couldn't finish the play. Skrwa Sikórz's Yan Zhen Wei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Armentier in the 52nd minute of play. Yan Zhen Wei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tim Stevens in the 55th minute. 56 minutes into the match, Damazy Niemojewski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristiaan Van de Velde. de belletrekkers's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Damazy Niemojewski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 62nd minute, Zula Jandryca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Skrwa Sikórz fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Eliézer de Sousa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Kristiaan Van de Velde showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damazy Niemojewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. The supporters of de belletrekkers booed when Skrwa Sikórz was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Olisadebe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, George Van Impe managed to get in a good position for a shot. de belletrekkers's supporters rose to their feet, but George Van Impe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Zhen Wei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, de belletrekkers's Tim Stevens got a free kick in the 75th minute. George Van Impe received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Yan Zhen Wei came out and tried to block the shot, but George Van Impe slotted it home off the left post making it 4-3 in the 77th minute. de belletrekkers's Kristiaan Van de Velde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edmund Niedbalski in the 92nd minute of play. In the 94th minute, Eliézer de Sousa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. de belletrekkers's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
