When Sálvio Sá came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Sporting Clube Patrício fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sálvio Sá couldn't finish the play. Sporting Clube Patrício's Viriato Leal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Primitivo Gorka in the 8th minute of play. Jeronimo Otoniel was shown his second yellow card after 10 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 23 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Porfírio Sarmento. Juliano Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute Amancio Carlomagno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viriato Leal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Damaso Teofilio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Clube Patrício. 36 minutes into the game, Amancio Carlomagno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bustick Sport's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sporting Clube Patrício the free kick. After 36 played minutes Bustick Sport got a freekick which was hit by Amancio Carlomagno. 43 minutes into the match, Sporting Clube Patrício's goal looked a bit too open when Angel Gudesteo came free, but Viriato Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Viriato Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Primitivo Gorka, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 57 minutes into the match, Sálvio Sá had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damaso Teofilio. Bustick Sport's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Sálvio Sá was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Porfírio Sarmento's late challenge caught a Bustick Sport's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Porfírio Sarmento helped the player get up and apologised. In the 62nd minute, Porfírio Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute Hipolito Faro managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. Primitivo Gorka fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Viriato Leal having to interfere. Damaso Teofilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reinaldo Quental in the 71st minute of play. In the 78th minute Sálvio Sá shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Teofilio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gaspar Sanson charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gaspar Sanson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Bustick Sport getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Gaspar Sanson hit a great ball. Damaso Teofilio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sálvio Sá went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Sporting Clube Patrício's Rogério Bento got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Sporting Clube Patrício were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Bustick Sport for a fine match.
