Clinton Caballero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 11th minute, Noah Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Martin Markusson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th minute Noah Ortiz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Markusson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dennis Bender in the 18th minute of play forced New England Minas's goalkeeper Martin Markusson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Martin Markusson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noah Ortiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mete Ferro in the 21st minute of play forced Dep. Moron's goalkeeper Agustina Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Rolando Lind was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dep. Moron's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New England Minas the free kick. Rolando Lind kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Mete Ferro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Agustina Ortiz having to make a save. In the 29th minute Mete Ferro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Agustina Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mete Ferro in the 37th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Agustina Ortiz prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dep. Moron's Agustina Ortiz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Dep. Moron from getting a goal against them. 2-1 became the score in the 44th minute when Mete Ferro elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 47th minute, Rashad Velasquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Noah Ortiz to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goalkeeper Martin Markusson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dennis Bender. Chris Cabezon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Agustina Ortiz having to interfere. 70 minutes into the game, New England Minas's Mete Ferro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Agustina Ortiz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. In the 73rd minute, Mete Ferro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Agustina Ortiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Martin Markusson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noah Ortiz in the 77th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Mete Ferro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Agustina Ortiz. Dep. Moron's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mete Ferro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Mete Ferro kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Dep. Moron's Donald Silva got a free kick in the 88th minute. Agustina Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mete Ferro in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes into the match, Mete Ferro notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Dep. Moron's Agustina Ortiz. Agustina Ortiz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dep. Moron's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
