Noah Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Almiro Setúbal having to interfere. 22 minutes into the game, Dep. Moron's Dennis Bender nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almiro Setúbal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. After 24 played minutes Sporting Clube Patrício got a freekick which was hit by Jiang Gang. Almiro Setúbal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noah Ortiz in the 25th minute of play. Almiro Setúbal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Bender, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Miguel Santiago in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Agustina Ortiz saved Dep. Moron from getting behind. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Dep. Moron's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Miguel Santiago was slow to take the kick. During this time Sporting Clube Patrício's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that David Madeira got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Agustina Ortiz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35th minute of the match Dep. Moron got a corner. Sporting Clube Patrício's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Dominic McGuire ran over to the corner to take the kick. Rúben Dantas tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Almiro Setúbal. Almiro Setúbal came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Dep. Moron's Dennis Bender. But to his dismay, Dennis Bender quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

After some careless play in the Sporting Clube Patrício defense, Dennis Bender kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Almiro Setúbal. The Sporting Clube Patrício fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Almiro Setúbal should have stopped the shot. With a little luck, Sporting Clube Patrício's Almiro Setúbal got control of the ball when Dennis Bender tried to sneak it across the goal line. 78 minutes into the game, Mario Grana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
