In the 12th minute, Matthew De la Torre got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some careless play in the Linköpings AIK defense, Fidel Astudillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Oscar Simonsson. The Linköpings AIK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Oscar Simonsson should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Fidel Astudillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Salelles's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
