The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aron Billström during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Aron Billström got a free kick in the 4th minute. Matthew De la Torre received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Filiph Hedling came out and tried to block the shot, but Matthew De la Torre slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Paulino Marin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Filiph Hedling firmly grabbed it by the left post. Filiph Hedling didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulino Marin went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Fidel Astudillo charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fidel Astudillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 23rd minute, Sven-Erik Valström hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Paulino Marin got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 26th minute, Kennet Broberg hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 32 in the game by Matthew De la Torre from a close distance when the talented Filiph Hedling managed to make a qualified save. Golden Lions FC's players were relieved. Aron Billström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 39 played minutes, Golden Lions FC's Edvard Nykvist shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmed Venon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Lions FC reached it. In the 41st minute, Matthew De la Torre reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Filiph Hedling. The goal made the score 4-0. Paulino Marin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Filiph Hedling made a huge save. Ahmed Venon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Karl-Ove Barck's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. 46 minutes into the game, Mero Pascua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salelles's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Golden Lions FC the free kick. In the 47th match minute, Salelles was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mero Pascua to maneuver through the defense. After 48 played minutes, Golden Lions FC's Sven-Erik Valström shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ahmed Venon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Golden Lions FC reached it. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Paulino Marin to make the kick off. After 55 minutes of play Golden Lions FC's Aron Billström was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After a rather tough play, Golden Lions FC's Aron Billström got a free kick in the 56th minute. 58 minutes into the match, Matthew De la Torre notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Golden Lions FC's Filiph Hedling. Filiph Hedling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Filiph Hedling made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulino Marin in the 63rd minute of play. Fidel Astudillo kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Ahmed Venon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karl-Ove Barck, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. Fidel Astudillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evert Ahlgren got his second yellow card in the match during the 77th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 78th match minute, Golden Lions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evert Ahlgren to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, Matthew De la Torre left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Salelles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Matthew De la Torre fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Hedling having to interfere. Sven-Erik Valström charged in rather forcefully in the 88th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Erik Valström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Salelles booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sven-Erik Valström didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute Axel Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmed Venon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. There was no doubt that Salelles were the better team. Salelles's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
