The audience thought a goal was coming when Filippo Grilli got free with Sydney Ross in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 崔瑜适 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Randle Rutledge, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 崔瑜适 came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Manly FC's Randle Rutledge. But to his dismay, Randle Rutledge quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rob Burton during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rob Burton kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Bray Paull hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Sydney Ross didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dé 吕布 went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Manly FC's Sydney Ross proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Manly FC from getting a goal against them. 高剑克 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Ross having to interfere. In the 24th minute Randle Rutledge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 崔瑜适 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 25th minute, Filippo Grilli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Valentino Panetta fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manly FC's protests and gave Valentino Panetta a yellow card for diving instead. Valentino Panetta hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Dé 吕布 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Ross having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Bray Paull hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 41 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when 高剑克 came free, but Sydney Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 47th minute 高剑克 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Ross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 高剑克 was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 高剑克 in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Ross prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Dé 吕布 almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manly FC's Sydney Ross did a great save. 崔瑜适 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Randle Rutledge in the 57th minute. Manly FC's Sydney Ross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dé 吕布 in the 61st minute of play. 68 minutes into the match, 高剑克 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sydney Ross. Manly FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 高剑克 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Manly FC made a substitution. Mister Yasin replaced Rob Burton. After a defensive mix-up in Manly FC's zone, 高剑克 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Ross came out of the goal and 高剑克 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute 高剑克 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Ross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
