Randle Rutledge blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Remus Vuia having to make a save. 20 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Burton came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manly FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mourad Rocchi in the 23rd minute. A collision led to Granicerul getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Ahmet Arif Polatalp hit a great ball. Rob Burton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Remus Vuia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebiu Ianculescu came free, but Sydney Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 34 minutes into the match, Manly FC's Randle Rutledge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Remus Vuia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 35th minute, Paz Trezise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Manly FC's zone, Cornel Nastac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Ross came out of the goal and Cornel Nastac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manly FC's Sydney Ross played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 40th minute of play. In the 43rd minute Randle Rutledge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Vuia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 44th minute Eusebiu Ianculescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sydney Ross saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Paz Trezise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind Manly FC's goalkeeper Sydney Ross, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Granicerul's Sydney Ross threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Valeriu Zoreanu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Randle Rutledge in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Remus Vuia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Randle Rutledge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Granicerul's goal looked a bit too open when Randle Rutledge came free, but Remus Vuia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remus Vuia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Randle Rutledge in the 64th minute of the match. Remus Vuia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Sydney Ross made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusebiu Ianculescu in the 70th minute. In the 71st minute, Andrei Florei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Granicerul made a substitution. Codrin Olaru replaced Eusebiu Ianculescu. Manly FC made a substitution. Mister Yasin replaced Rob Burton. A collision led to Granicerul getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Andrei Florei hit a great ball. In the 77thth minute of the game Randle Rutledge who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Granicerul's Remus Vuia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Remus Vuia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mister Yasin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Randle Rutledge came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Manly FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randle Rutledge couldn't finish the play. In the 91st minute, Paz Trezise hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney Ross acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 93rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Cornel Nastac.
