Yao Ming Yun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rob Burton, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ismael Shantala in the 33rd minute of play forced Manly FC's goalkeeper Sydney Ross to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yao Ming Yun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Burton in the 34th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Mourad Rocchi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Yao Ming Yun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 39th minute, Fernan Llorian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umbekannt87 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. 47 minutes into the match, Manly FC's Randle Rutledge sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Ming Yun narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Manly FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Umbekannt87 were winning 0-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rob Burton was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Rob Burton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Ming Yun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Umbekannt87's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Randle Rutledge was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Manly FC made a substitution. Mister Yasin replaced Rob Burton. When Randle Rutledge came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Manly FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Randle Rutledge couldn't finish the play. After 92 minutes, Valentino Panetta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manly FC and the Umbekannt87 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Valentino Panetta hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Manly FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
