Qiu Feng Guo might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cássio Aguiar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Qiu Feng Guo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Cássio Aguiar having to make a save. Alvinegro Carioca's Cássio Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Qiu Feng Guo in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute Qiu Feng Guo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cássio Aguiar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Purple Talents left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Alvinegro Carioca.
