Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Lucio Caetano started the match with the kick off. Gualterio Socorro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Cerezo in the 3rd minute of the match. Chiquinho Guerra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucio Caetano in the 5th minute. After taking down the ball on Nouvelle Vague's corner Froilan Ederono fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Chiquinho Guerra quite easily take care of the ball. In the 9th minute, Rubens Cerezo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Alfredinho de Senna suffered a concussion after 13 minutes and had to leave the field. After 13 minutes, Froilan Ederono mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nouvelle Vague and the Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Manoel Paraense was substituted for Alfredinho de Senna. After 15 played minutes Nouvelle Vague got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Ederono. 16 minutes into the game, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Orange nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gualterio Socorro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Germano Alvarenga during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Germano Alvarenga got a free kick in the 18th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Lucio Caetano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nouvelle Vague's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucio Caetano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luiz Fabiano Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Luiz Fabiano Orange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualterio Socorro was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Lucio Caetano took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Chiquinho Guerra. Chiquinho Guerra dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 37th minute, Walter Abacha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Luiz Fabiano Orange to make the kick off. Nouvelle Vague's Gualterio Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 53rd minute of play. After some careless play in the Nouvelle Vague defense, Luiz Fabiano Orange kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gualterio Socorro. The Nouvelle Vague fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gualterio Socorro should have stopped the shot. Nouvelle Vague's Walter Abacha got his second yellow card of the match in the 67th minute. The referee ordered Walter Abacha off the ground. A collision led to Nouvelle Vague getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Walter Abacha hit a great ball. Dario Celipe hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Germano Alvarenga got a free kick in the 71st minute. Luiz Fabiano Orange scored 2-5 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gualterio Socorro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lucio Caetano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Lucio Caetano came free, but Chiquinho Guerra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Chiquinho Guerra stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lucio Caetano's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Nouvelle Vague's Gualterio Socorro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 94th minute of play. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
