In the 29th minute Popcorn Haedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Chiquinho Guerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oséias Orange sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 34 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Luiz Fabiano Orange sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alberto Diagur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alberto Diagur took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oséias Orange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberto Diagur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Fabiano Orange in the 38th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Alfredinho de Senna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With a little luck, PGE FC's Alberto Diagur got control of the ball when Oséias Orange tried to sneak it across the goal line. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Chiquinho Guerra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Odon in the 55th minute of play. The coaching staff of PGE FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Cristian Adrio had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Esteban Frasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falcão Orange hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 90th minute, Saturnino Ospin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The PGE FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
