An unexpectedly hard shot by Román Armada in the 10th minute of play forced Napoleón 2018's goalkeeper Edmílson Veloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmílson Veloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fagondo Huarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fagondo Huarte to make the kick off. Halit Ziya Ustaoğlu hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Los once leones Ourense. Los once leones Ourense's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
