Lazaro Armada kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Eskild Sneftrup blasted a shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aloisio Correa having to make a save. Aloisio Correa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eskild Sneftrup, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After a rather tough play, MILLONARIOS FC's Maties Toranzo got a free kick in the 17th minute. 27 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fagondo Huarte came free, but Munio Antolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Munio Antolin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fagondo Huarte, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Munio Antolin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramón Jaraba in the 33rd minute of play. Aloisio Correa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iván Cordoba in the 36th minute of play. MILLONARIOS FC were furious when Theo Hernández was red carded, 45 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 47th minute Ramón Jaraba shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Munio Antolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramón Jaraba in the 48th minute of play forced MILLONARIOS FC's goalkeeper Munio Antolin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fagondo Huarte to strike the kick off in the second half. Román Armada could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 52nd minute of the match, but Munio Antolin made a huge save. Eskild Sneftrup recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Munio Antolin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Román Armada in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the match, MILLONARIOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fagondo Huarte came free, but Munio Antolin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MILLONARIOS FC's Munio Antolin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save MILLONARIOS FC from getting a goal against them. After 66 minutes MILLONARIOS FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Román Armada who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Los once leones Ourense's Serapio Hevia to a score. 0-1 in the 66th minute. 78 minutes into the game, Los once leones Ourense's Román Armada nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Munio Antolin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Giorgio Jubera took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Munio Antolin. Munio Antolin dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Munio Antolin was out of position in the 86 minute of play, and Ramón Jaraba capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ramón Jaraba really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. MILLONARIOS FC's Munio Antolin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramón Jaraba in the 89th minute of play. Munio Antolin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Jaraba, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute Serapio Hevia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Munio Antolin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
