Urko FC's Alonzo Rito managed to work through Atlético Minuano's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alonzo Rito dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Edelmiro Haimar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Prado in the 12th minute of play. 14 minutes into the game, Urko FC's Alonzo Rito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alonzo Rito in the 17th minute of play. Marcelo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Bilos in the 21st minute of the match. Benedito Sergipano was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 23 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Lino Paez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urko FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lino Paez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 39 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goal looked a bit too open when Fulgencio Teofilio came free, but Marcelo Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After taking down the ball on Urko FC's corner Daniel Bilos fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcelo Linares quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Bilos's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Marcelo Linares - 0-3 was put on the score board in the 41st minute. Fulgencio Teofilio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Jonatan Montes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urko FC and the Atlético Minuano players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jonatan Montes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Edelmiro Haimar was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tadeu Barreto. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Waldemar Radziszewski to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Marcelo Linares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Bilos. 55 minutes into the match, Fulgencio Teofilio notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares. In the 73rd minute, Urko FC's Fulgencio Teofilio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marcelo Linares. Marcelo Linares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 79 minutes into the game, Jonatan Montes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-7. Marcelo Linares was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alonzo Ritos short, quick shot in the 83rdth minute got Marcelo Linares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Fulgencio Teofilio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcelo Linares came out and tried to block the shot, but Fulgencio Teofilio slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 84th minute. The supporters of Urko FC booed when Atlético Minuano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovani Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fulgencio Teofilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares got control of the ball when Alonzo Rito tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lucio Ermano during the 94th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Urko FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Lucio Ermano hit a great ball. When the final whistle sounded Urko FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Atlético Minuano.
