Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Waldemar Radziszewski made the kick off which started today's match. Marcelo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hipolito Mannie in the 3rd minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Hipolito Mannie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters rose to their feet, but Hipolito Mannie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Atlético Minuano booed when Expresso Ranelagh was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentino Rosas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcelo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Lago in the 13th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the game, Expresso Ranelagh's Zacarias Umea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Expresso Ranelagh's Hipolito Mannie got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21stth minute of the game Zacarias Umea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Márcio Lago in the 29th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Marcelo Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Márcio Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Expresso Ranelagh's Zacarias Umea in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Atlético Minuano's goalie prevented a goal. Marcelo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Lago in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Marcelo Linares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Lago in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arif Tugay Alkın lost his temper 44 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Benedito Sergipano, 45 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. The Atlético Minuano players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Expresso Ranelagh were winning 0-1.

In the 53rd minute Márcio Lago shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcelo Linares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Atlético Minuano defense, Zacarias Umea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Linares. The Atlético Minuano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Linares should have stopped the shot. Benedito Sergipano hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, Atlético Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lauro Torres to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Atlético Minuano's Duda Soares got a free kick in the 69th minute. Valentino Rosas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcelo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Márcio Lago in the 72nd minute of the match. Expresso Ranelagh's Svetoslav Vardarov was substituted for Márcio Lago. 83 minutes into the match, Waldemar Radziszewski notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of Expresso Ranelagh's Pablo Lohitzun. Pablo Lohitzun was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Minuano's zone, Zacarias Umea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Linares came out of the goal and Zacarias Umea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zacarias Umea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Marcelo Linares made a huge save. A collision led to Atlético Minuano getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Tadeu Barreto hit a great ball. In the 96th minute, Svetoslav Vardarov reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcelo Linares. The goal made the score 1-5. Expresso Ranelagh's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
