Marcelo Linares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Uriel Guillelme went, in the 2nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Edelmiro Haimar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldemar Radziszewski, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Minuano from getting a goal against them. 11 minutes into the match, Alonzo Rito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Linares, 2-0. Marcelo Linares made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Alonzo Rito sent off a good shot on target. Marcelo Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alonzo Rito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Benedito Sergipano. Marcelo Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Rito in the 23rd minute of the match. Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Guillelme in the 31st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giovani Nunes during the 34th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 35th match minute, Atlético Minuano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovani Nunes to maneuver through the defense. In the 35th minute of the match Lino Paez shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcelo Linares showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Uriel Guillelme who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alonzo Rito stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the game, Urko FC's Uriel Guillelme nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcelo Linares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. Marcelo Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uriel Guillelme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Bilos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Marcelo Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Uriel Guillelme took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcelo Linares. Marcelo Linares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-0. Marcelo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Guillelme in the 66th minute of play. Lino Paez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the Atlético Minuano defense, Uriel Guillelme kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Linares. The Atlético Minuano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Linares should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the match, Alonzo Rito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcelo Linares. Atlético Minuano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alonzo Rito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 10-0. In the 88th minute, Alonzo Rito made a precise shot to the right of Marcelo Linares. Atlético Minuano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 11-0. After a defensive mix-up in Atlético Minuano's zone, Alonzo Rito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcelo Linares came out of the goal and Alonzo Rito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Uriel Guillelme's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcelo Linares was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Bonifacio Bilbo charged in rather forcefully in the 97th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bonifacio Bilbo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After having played for 98 minutes, Benedito Sergipano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atlético Minuano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedito Sergipano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Urko FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
