The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Marcelo Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rony Dudu in the 2nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Waldemar Radziszewski got free with Casimiro Ignatius in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcelo Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 毛明昆, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 毛明昆 in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcelo Linares prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 18 minutes had been played when some careless play by Atlético Minuano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Armando Piacentini was slow to take the kick. During this time Proteu's players had a chance to rest. Armando Piacentini made a great header on Proteu's corner, it was just that Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Atlético Minuano defense, Rony Dudu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marcelo Linares. The Atlético Minuano fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marcelo Linares should have stopped the shot. In the 28th minute Lauro Torres shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casimiro Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeu Barreto kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Proteu's supporters rose to their feet, but Rony Dudu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcelo Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 played minutes Atlético Minuano got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldinho Prado. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rony Dudu got free with Marcelo Linares in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 79 minutes, 毛明昆 made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, 毛明昆 took a quick shot and it went in 0-6 without a chance for Marcelo Linares to make any attempt to save it. 87 minutes into the match, 毛明昆 notched a goal, 0-7, to the right of Atlético Minuano's Marcelo Linares. Marcelo Linares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by 毛明昆 in the 90th minute of play forced Atlético Minuano's goalkeeper Marcelo Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Atlético Minuano's Giovani Nunes got a free kick in the 95th minute. In the 95th minute, Armando Piacentini got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Atlético Minuano fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Proteu were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
