Ambrosio Mannie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joshua Anderhub in the 35th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joshua Anderhub in the 39th minute of play forced BEIJO CARNAVAL's goalkeeper Ambrosio Mannie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 41 minutes, Edgardo Franco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BEIJO CARNAVAL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Franco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Edgardo Franco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Edgardo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adam Hinnen to make the kick off. If Edgardo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 81 played minutes FC Wil 1900 got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Bollhalder. In the 88th minute, FC Wil 1900's Roland Cirella dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. If Edgardo Franco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The BEIJO CARNAVAL supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching FC Wil 1900's performance. The match ended with a win for FC Wil 1900.
