The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute of the match Jardel Favoretto shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaroslav Kaczynski showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. A collision led to Illuminati getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Milosz Bykowski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Souza in the 10th minute of play forced Illuminati's goalkeeper Jaroslav Kaczynski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Tarrasque Voador F.C. booed when Illuminati was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedykt Zuraw didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ernani Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Illuminati's Jaroslav Kaczynski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldir Souza in the 20th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match Jardel Favoretto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jaroslav Kaczynski skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Illuminati booed when Tarrasque Voador F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Roberto Veloso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th match minute, Illuminati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Tomaszewski to maneuver through the defense. Zé Roberto Veloso, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jaroslav Kaczynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Souza, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 41st match minute, Illuminati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonard Tomaszewski to maneuver through the defense. When Waldir Souza came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Tarrasque Voador F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Waldir Souza couldn't finish the play. Jaroslav Kaczynski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Godoi in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Waldir Souza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jaroslav Kaczynski having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabrício Godoi got free with Jaroslav Kaczynski in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jaroslav Kaczynski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Souza in the 57th minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Illuminati was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Zuraw to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Luís Fábio Cerezo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Fabrício Godois short, quick shot in the 84thth minute got Jaroslav Kaczynski to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 88 minutes into the match, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Leszek Piglowski came free, but Fabinho Arruda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Illuminati's Tomasz Zworski got a free kick in the 92nd minute.
