Boudewijn Bauwens's late challenge caught a Metapalo FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Boudewijn Bauwens helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, North Hill United's Boudewijn Bauwens got a free kick in the 20th minute. Waut Limpens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dante Rafe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Omer Vandamme made a kick off. The crowd rose to their feet as Metapalo FC's Silvio Jobo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waut Limpens. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. The North Hill United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Metapalo FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
